A weekend of adventure and emotions.

On Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, Villa Welsperg, the House of the Park, opens its doors at unusual hours for a weekend full of emotions and outdoor adventures. Curious tales, exciting challenges, workshops, games, and insights: this and much more in the program designed for young and old nature lovers! Experiencing A Night at the Park will make you the protagonist of an unforgettable experience, having fun with your family while learning why it is so important to respect the environment around us. You, the beautiful backdrop of the Val Canali, and your children. Nothing else is needed... Oh yes, toothbrush and sleeping bag! The event is organized in collaboration with the Road of Cheeses of the Dolomites and La Trentina.

• Saturday, March 21
  
  3:00 PM: Welcome to Villa Welsperg, the House of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park! We will leave our luggage and prepare the sleeping areas for the night in the Park's library... There will be no shortage of reading!
  3:30 PM: 'A good start…'. Through a participatory play activity, we learn about the Park: What is it? What species and environments characterize it? What does 'protected area' mean? A small snack will follow to recharge our batteries. Then, everyone to the ancient restored stable: it's time for the workshop! We will talk about 'Fur, feathers, and wool' and all those strategies that allow animals to get through winter while waiting for spring to return: seasonal molts, thick fur, curled-up positions, burrowing in the snow… and then there are the sheep - including the Lamon breed - that 'dress' in wool, a natural fiber that we gladly use to keep warm. Let's discover together the characteristics of this fiber, its processing supply chain, and some curious ways to use it to create a small keepsake.
  7:15 PM: Time to recharge! A delicious typical dinner featuring local products awaits us at the Restaurant Al Cacciatore. The move from Villa Welsperg to the restaurant will be on foot (about 5 minutes).
  8:30 PM: With full bellies, we set off for a short night walk in the meadows of Val Canali, to listen to the sounds of the night and - weather permitting - admire the starry sky, just before the Spring Equinox. Then we will return to Villa Welsperg.
  9:45 PM: It's time to put on pajamas, prepare sleeping bags, and brush teeth. Before we say goodbye, for those who stay awake a little longer, evening cuddles with a warm herbal tea and a goodnight story...
  10:30 PM: Everyone inside the sleeping bag to spend a special night, dreaming of Dolomite adventures amid books, fossils, and colorful feathers. It certainly won't be the most comfortable night - a nice mattress can help! - but definitely an opportunity to sleep curled up next to loved ones, immersed in the tranquility of Val Canali.
  
  
• Sunday, March 22
  
  7:45 AM: Driiiin! Everyone up, nature is waking up... And now it's your turn! Next, a hearty breakfast to enjoy in the ancient stable next to the Villa, now an exhibition space, to start the day off right with products from Agritur Dalaip dei Pape, cheeses from the Primiero Dairy, and La Trentina apples.
  8:45 AM: Another intense morning together awaits us! It’s time to stretch our legs (and, why not, also our ears, hands, and eyes) with a guided walk to explore the rich natural environment of Val Canali. The goal? To search for large and small natural elements by observing them up close - perhaps with the help of a magnifying glass - and investigating their ecological roles. We then return to Villa Welsperg.
  12:00 PM: With many new memories to keep, it's time to say goodbye. SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

Costs: €55.00 adult (from 13 years) |  €40.00 adult. Family special: for family units consisting of at least 2 adults and 2 or more paying children (4-12 years) €40.00 child from 4 to 12 years (completed). Each adult can accompany a maximum of 3 paying children. The fee includes: typical dinner at the restaurant; buffet breakfast with local products; all activities indicated in the program carried out by qualified Natural Park operators; small souvenir gadget; the unique opportunity to sleep inside Villa Welsperg. At the time of registration, it is necessary to report any allergies and/or food intolerances.

N.B: The fee is refundable only in case of cancellation by the organizer, namely in the cases of:

• a) failure to reach the minimum number of participants (set at 4 different family units);
• b) weather conditions that hinder the event;
• c) other causes of force majeure.

* In case of unstable weather conditions, the program may undergo variations, but generally, the initiative is confirmed. Only in cases of weather that compromises the nature and the entire program of the initiative, as well as the safety of the participants, will it be canceled with a full refund of the fee paid. The organization will communicate any such information by Friday, March 20, 2026.
